as the Waiter + Series Creator, Executive Producer

Jocelyn is a producer, director, and an actor.
As a producer, Jocelyn has co-conceived several immersive productions with her company, Woodshed Collective (of which she is a founder and the actor-in-residence) — including KPOP and The Tenant. Jocelyn is also the creator of The Muse Project, dedicated to centering and spotlighting women theater actors; and she is the creator of Staging Film, an experimental cross-medium initiative.
Jocelyn is a three-time Princess Grace Award nominated performer. Jocelyn mostly works on new plays and new theatrical forms; and, as a performer, she has become a favorite among New York's downtown theater stalwarts, often portraying intense, fragile, and feral characters. She has appeared in more than 20 NYC productions, including multiple premieres and appearances with companies like the Obie Award winning collective, 13 Playwrights, and her company, Woodshed Collective. Papermag calls her an "outstanding actor." Onscreen, her new media, television, and film appearances include Nana Mensah's Queen of Glory (2021 Tribeca Festival Special Jury Prize for Artistic Expression); A Little Dream (prod. Tim Harms); Chisa Hutchinson's Domesticity, directed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord (2017 Discover.film Awards Best Micro Drama); Neil LaBute's Over The River & Through The Woods, directed by Leigh Silverman, with an original score by Heidi Rodewald; and Ghazi Albuliwi's Peace After Marriage (Montpellier Mediterranean Film Festival Audience Award). Her voice work resides in audio drama. She is currently featured in two pieces produced by Play For Voices, a podcast series showcasing international plays; and she is the voice of the Grand Cuspid in The Fall Of The House Of Sunshine, a serialized comedy musical podcast (one of only 4 narrative podcasts from The Sunday Times’s 100 of the Best Podcasts to Listen to in 2019).
